Crew Jackson – Geography

This afternoon we had a great time exploring how the Earth can be divided in different ways. I was impressed with their recall of prior learning and the way they presented their work in their Expedition books.

Crew Jackson – Target setting crew

This morning in crew we looked back at our presentation in our new maths books. With a partner, the children critiqued their books and wrote pledges for this week. So far I have been really impressed with their efforts.

Crew Jackson – National read a book day

After a very warm walk around Thorne Community Woods, it was lovely to return to the wonderful Year 5 Learning Councillors coming to read us a story. They were so confident reading aloud to us and everyone enjoyed the story. Thank you Sophie and Scarlet. x
