This week in Class 5 the children have enjoyed exploring our new class text ‘Giraffe’s can’t dance’. They have completed jigsaw puzzles of the front cover, made predictions about the story, loved developing their fluency in reading using pyramid sentences about giraffes and looked at the features of a letter Gerald wrote to the other animals. A great week, well done everyone!
Today Class 5 enjoyed exploring and creating animal skin prints as a hook into our new class story. They created giraffes, cheetahs, leopards and zebras. I wonder what our story might be?
Well done Class 5 great collaborative work today in maths using the part part whole model. I was really impressed with your use of maths vocabulary when explaining your work.
Well done to Amelia on your swimming award and JJ for achieving man of the match in his football match. Keep up the hard work!
Fabulous G block art work in Class 5!
Look at the amazing starfish sketches the children in Class 5 have created with Mrs Miller. They have looked very carefully at the patterns and shapes. Well done everyone!
