There have been so many highlights across Y2 today. Here a few to show how fantastic Class 7 and 8 are…
Well done to Jamie who has been a learning legend all week. Everyone has been blown away by the amount of work you have completed this week. Mrs Miller tells us you have been on every hangout and that you have been so chatty and happy! Keep up the hard work next week Jamie, you are a Motivated Moe!
Today Mrs Miller has selected JJ as Class 8’s learning legend. He has done some amazing maths work and impressed everyone with his working out. Well done JJ! Check out his awesome work below.
Well done Leila for being a Stickability Stan and wowing everyone with your fantastic maths work today.
Well done Oscar I am blown away by your amazing sketching skills. I know that Mrs Miller is very proud of your work this morning.
Please find a link to a letter below from the English Hub. They will be providing daily online phonics lessons from Monday 27th April. These are based on the letters and sounds phonics programme we use in school.
Ella- May! Well done for producing some great crafts and showcasing them in your garden. These photos will be able to form part of our final product videos :))
…Hattie Davidson for being a Motivated Moe with her work today. Miss O’Neill says that Hattie was not really in the mood for working this morning on hangout but has gone on to produce some fantastic work.
Today’s learning legend has got to be shared today, I just couldn’t pick between these two wonderful pieces of art work. Well done to Phil, Lewis and Eleanor for creating art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy for our expedition but these three went the extra mile to produce some art work for our amazing NHS workers too. This has made me feel so proud so thank you to all three of you, a fantastic job!
WOW class 8 I know I say this all the time but I am so pleased and proud of how hard you have worked. I planned the expedition today and art is something I really love and Andy Goldsworthy but I think your art work is probably a lot better than his!
Your’e hard work and motivation for learning and completing hook week has really impressed me, Mrs Jackson and Miss Salter so much (I emailed them to tell them how proud I was of you all). I want to say a huge shout out to Phil, Lewis and Eleanor for doing their NHS art today, I have a couple of friends that are nurses and this has made me feel really emotional.
One last shout out to Callum for doing his learning outside today (I know your not a big fan of the outdoors) I love your chalk art you have created that has made me day! Thank you for making the end of my week so special. I am so proud of you!
I notice…amazing fact files about Andy Goldsworthy.
I praise.. absolutely stunning art work using natural materials.
I wonder.. if everyone will work just as hard in expedition next week (I planned that too) to make our final product super amazing.
I am off next week but I will still be checking the blog to see all your great learning. Miss O’Neill and Mrs Miller will be on the classroom looking at your work and doing hang outs at the same time every day.
Stay safe everyone, see you soon.
