Year 3 have sent out new homework books this week with ideas for some amazing theme based activities! Additional to this we have put on our weekly spelling and a homework challenge that focuses on some of our tricky areas of learning from this week.

Today year 3 explored how the layout and features of a non-fiction text are used and why.

This year we are offering the opportunity for children to take part in music lessons. We are lucky enough to have qualified instructors to teach recorder and guitar.
Tuition will begin on Wednesday 11th September 2019 (during school time)

3/4 Crew 🙂
Year 3 went on a treasure hunt around the playground today. They enjoyed learning new facts about Healthy foods and discovered the focus of our first piece of writing this year. 🙂
What an amazing start to a new school year! I am so proud of class 10 and the effort they have put in to make our environment the best it can be! They have worked so hard and collaboratively, showing some real artistic skill.

Class 10 are really engaging in our first theme this year 🙂 Some little doctors in the making!
Today, Crew Gutteridge, Cooper Crew and Crew Barnett were exploring Eddies as they worked collaboratively and explored different strategies to win. We soon discovered that we needed to communicate and take our time to ensure we succeeded.
