Just to answer some queries from various parents. Unfortunately, the children are unable to leave with you after the session has finished. Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

We hope to see you all there! Any other questions, please come and see us.

Tasty Animal Treats

Thank you so much to Amy for bringing these truly delicious treats in for us to share today.

Not only did they look amazing and like the real thing, but they tasted equally as good too (I could have eaten them all. I tried to steal the tin but they were on to me 🤣)!

Huge well done Amy, 20 house points to you!

Click on the link to see Class 7 try to beat the timer with our ‘Roll on the Wall’ spelling activity.

The children worked together in groups taking it in turns to go outside in to the quad, read and memorise the sentences with our year 2 common exception words in and then, come back in and tell their team. The teams had to spell the words correctly as well as making sure it had the correct punctuation.

The winning team got extra house points and a prize from the prize bucket!

Well done everyone! I was so impressed by all of the Motivated Moe’s in our classroom today, with so much enthusiasm! Keep it up!

Theme- What can you recall?

This afternoon, as part of our ‘art’ theme lesson, we have been critiquing a famous artist. We shared as a class what we liked and disliked about his paintings and gave reasoning for our opinions.

Now, let’s see what you can remember!

Answer these questions in your homework books to receive a prize from Mrs Faulding prize bucket as well as 20 House points!

1. What was the artists name?

2. Which country was he from?

3. What did all of his paintings have in common/what was the same?

Make sure you show me your homework books once you’ve answered them! Good luck!

Mrs Faulding
