Immersing the classroom

Miss Walton and Miss Cooper have had a lovely week with those pupils in school beginning to immerse the classroom. It has also been great to see the children at home getting involved in hook week as well. Have a look at some of the pictures below to see what we have been up to.

We will be adding to the classroom over the next few weeks so keep a look out to see what else we add.

Christingles

The kids have really enjoyed making their Christingles today and discussing the meaning behind each part. I wonder if you can tell your grown-ups what each of the parts are.

Special Delivery!

Yesterday, Class 10 had the chance to deliver their brownies to the key workers at Sainsbury’s. It was great to see the smiles on everyone’s faces and the staff were really happy to receive them.

Brownie baking in Class 10

The kids have been waiting all week to bake their brownies for the key workers and they finally got their turn this afternoon. It was great to see the teamwork from everyone and the finished product looks delicious. Looking forward to delivering them on money.

Letters to Santa

In class 6 today we have been writing letters to Santa.

The children have really impressed us with their writing and I’m sure Santa will enjoy reading them!

I wonder if they will receive a reply next week?

Have a great weekend

Community Crew in Year 1

I would like to shout out to the staff and children in Y1 who have welcomed me to their community crew this morning.  Their focus was ‘be kind’ and I can see how kind they all are!  I am blown away by the great work that happens in Y1 crew.
Thank you for having me!
