Year 3/4: Football Tournament at XP

On Friday, a small number of year 3/4 children had the wonderful opportunity to play in a football tournament with another school in our Trust (Plover). A big ‘shout-out’ to all the children for working hard and being kind. It made the afternoon competitive and very enjoyable. A special ‘shout-out’ to Niah for being player of the tournament – you worked your socks off for your team and never said a negative thing to anyone. A thank you to all the parents involved in taking the children and returning them, to Mr Overson for all your help and to Mr Mead (of Plover) for arranging a fantastic afternoon.

Year 3 and 4: GTGT 2022

Yesterday it was fantastic to see so many talented children perform for us in our phase crew meeting. We were blown away by the efforts and dedication that you all put in to practising and performing your acts.

It’s not an easy thing to get up and perform in front of an audience but you all smashed it and it showed such brilliant character growth for getting up there and having a go!

We are so proud of you!!

**We have voted in our crews today so we will be announcing the Year 3/4 winner tomorrow!**

Watch this space but you definitely all deserve 50 HoWL points for working hard!

Thank you, the year 3/4 team šŸ™‚ x

Staff crew tonight 💚

Staff took part in their own staff crew sports day tonight. We felt exactly the same as some of the children did on sports day, when we were put outside of our comfort zone.

There were some falls, some competitiveness and lots of laughs!

What a great staff crew we have

Key stage 1 sports day 💚

Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported our year 1 and 2 children in their sports day today!

The cheering and clapping from the crowd watching was just what our children needed and I especially loved the constant shouting for support at the finish line which got all of our children to the end of their race!

We had a fantastic morning with our crew and loved the fact that parents and carers were there to share it with us!

Thank you!

A huge well done to everyone who took part in a race too. We are so proud of you all for trying so hard!

The key stage 1 team 💚
