Y6 London – getting ready for another busy day
London Update
All children are up, dressed and happy. I’m delighted to say we all got a good night’s sleep! We are just about to go for breakfast. Pics to follow!
Year 6’s day of fun!
The Year 6 children that remain in school had a wonderful day today, starting by demonstrating their leadership skills by supporting the Nursery Sports Day. After that, we baked delicious shortbread, impressing the adults in school with their skill. We ended the day with some XP Outdoors time with the students finding their own materials to create fire on which to boil our camping kettles to make some hot chocolate! We will all sleep well tonight!
Get Involved In Celebrating Arts Week
To celebrate arts week, we would like as many people as possible to create some artwork linked to the theme of ‘connecting across generations‘. Get together with your family or friends to create a piece of artwork. It can be anything you want! You could create a family portrait, a landscape of somewhere you like to visit or just your favourite picture.
It would be great to see everyone working together to create one piece of artwork. Send any pictures or your final art work to Miss Barnett or email them to [email protected] by Monday 17th July.
Here are some examples if you need some inspiration!
We have arrived! We have just seen Prince Edward too!
And we’re off!

Team of the season
Well done Y6 for your superb effort this afternoon against Brooke. The games were played in great spirit and it was a pleasure to watch some fantastic games of football.
