The children have blown me away this term with their super learning! Well done class 3 and keep it up! Here are some learning photos from today. The children chose to do this learning in their own time! You are all superstars. I hope you all have a fun weekend!

Tilly and Sonny also measured Pinochio’s nose and could compare which nose was the longest and shortest.
Today Hero came to visit and class 3 and 4 loved seeing what she has learned since her last visit. she was so smiley today and tried to chat to the children lots. She has already learned to roll over and is starting to sit up by herself. Her cheeky side to say made all the children giggle when she stuck her tough out at everyone, blew raspberries (for the first time) and refused to wear her shoes.
The children in class 3 and 4 are super excited to see baby Hero! We are learning about the new things she has learnt to do since her last visit! I wonder how many children can tell their grown ups about Baby Hero tonight at home?
This week in assembly we celebrated dancing, swimming, life saving skills and football. Well done everyone we are so proud of you all!
Class 3 have loved sharing our homework in our homework circles. This week I would love to celebrate Isla’s amazing homework. Isla and her family always produce the most beautiful homework to share with the class. Last week, Isla shared with us how she and her family had helped to deliver food and sandbags to those effected by the recent floods. Isla also told us about what she had done on Remembrance Sunday and she shared some photographs and information about her relatives who had been in the army. Well done Isla, not only for producing great homework but also for helping the people in need in our community.
Class 3 and 4 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Disney drawing competition in memory of Alan. We were very impressed with the children’s efforts with some children producing up to 5 pictures throughout the day! An extra special well done to Carter who was chosen as the EYFS winner of the competition. Carter produced lots of different pictures throughout the day and thoroughly deserved his amazing prize. We hope you have fun producing lots more pictures Carter. We think you could be an illustrator when you grow up or maybe even work for Disney!
A lovely rendition of the three little pigs was performed by the EYFS children today. The work produced by the children this term has been amazing and I personally was overwhelmed with the confidence and articulation of our youngest members of the school.
EYFS had such a magical time at Sundown Adventure Land today. The children were absolutley awesome and we had so much fun. I just wish we could do it all over again tomorrow!
