Thank you to everyone who bought and came to celebrate our book that we created and published as part of our WW2 expedition. It was lovely to see everyone and to see the children so proud of their published work.

What an amazing day that Year 4 have had at Magna! We were able to experience fire, water, air and earth and the fascinating science behind each of them. We also made our own erupting volcanoes and looked at the way in which samples can be taken to determine the age, force and number of eruptions a volcano has had over a long period of time.
We are excited to finally have our WW2 books published and available to buy!
Our book launch will take place on Thursday 11th May between 4.15pm and 5.30pm. Please pop in between these times to our VE day inspired celebration to enjoy some war time music and a slice of cake!

Year 4 really enjoyed celebrating the coronation with their coronation lunch!
Everyone dressed to impress with their red, white and blue outfits on Friday to celebration the coronation!
Last week, we enjoyed learning about the process to make fossils. To help us understand our learning, we used bread and sweets to represent the animals and the layers of sediment. When we applied pressure, we were able to see the fossil imprints!

We were focusing on triangles today in maths and were learning about the four different types: equilateral, isosceles, scale and right-angled. We used art straws to make the different triangles to help us learn more about their properties.
