To immerse ourselves into the new class text, the children went out into the gazebo to have the first few chapters read to them. It was cold and windy but the hot chocolate made it much more bearable!
Crew Knowles – Swimming
Crew Knowles had the best time swimming today! I was so so proud of how brave they all were pushing themselves out of their comfort zone! It’s safe to say they can’t wait for next week!
Crew Knowles: Hook Day 1
We’ve had lots of crafty fun today to immerse our classrooms ready for our new expedition all about climate change and polar bears!
First we created cotton wool polar bears, second we decorated our windows with sparkly stars and third we created polar bears using a page from our new class text! We also created hand print polar bears which look great on display!

Friday film! 🎅
What a treat it was for Year 3 and 4 to be able to go and watch the film Elf at the Savoy cinema. Thank you to the friends for helping organise this great morning out. We had that much fun we only managed to get one photo!

Y3/4 Presentation of Learning
Don’t forget out Year 3/4 presentation of learning is on Thursday 7th December.
The children will share their learning and their website with you in a coffee afternoon style drop in between the times of 2pm – 3pm.
If you are attending, please arrive through the Ash Tree Road entrance at the hall. If your child has siblings in school, you will not be able to collect them until 3pm as normal so may want to arrive at the drop in a bit later.
Your child will only be in the hall if they have an adult present so if you are unable to attend but would like your child to share their learning with an adult of a friend, please arrange this with class teachers.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Dodgeball Stars! 🤩
In community Crew, we were able to celebrate the successes of those who participated in the dodgeball tournament last Friday. Again, we are really proud of how well they did and represented themselves.
If kits have not been returned yet, then please return them to me! 🙂
