Class 4- Children in need day.

We had so much fun today in class 4 raising money for Children in need. The children loved being able to dress up, have a little dance, do purses bear activities and most importantly eating cake. That you so much to all the parents for the donations.

Reception remembers

Today the children in reception showed great respect as they circled up to honour a 2 minutes silence for our heroes of today and of days gone by. The children shared their understanding of remembrance day and took part in crafts, poppy counting and this inspired some to create their own artwork

Class 4 Faith Day

Class 4 had so much fun on Friday for our Faith day. We learned all about Hinduism with a focus on the festival Diwali. We enjoyed making Diva lamps and Rangoli patterns throughout the day.

Reception’s Faith day

This week the children in reception have been learning about Hinduism. On Friday our learning from the week was brought together for the children to have a fun faith day. The children enjoyed learning about the story of Rama and Sita, created Rangoli patterns, made beautiful decorations and made some wonderful Diva lamps. Here are some of our snapshots!

Odd Socks Day!

As part of Anti Bullying Week, on Tuesday 12th November we will be celebrating Odd Socks Day. This is to show it’s okay to be different to and to raise the awareness of bullying! So dig out your favourite pairs as we can’t wait to see your odd socks!

Reception Reading Books

This week the children have all received a reading book. It is the expectation that the children will read their book at home and this is recorded in the yellow reading record that came in their reading pack. This will support the children in their phonics skills and help to improve their reading fluency.

Books will be changed on a Tuesday and a Friday as long as it is evident in their reading record that they have read the book. If you need any support with anything reading please ask a member of the F2 Team.

Enjoy!
