Sign Language Week at Green Top

We are delighted to have taken part in Sign Language Week last week at Green Top. The children focussed on different things throughout the week linked to days of the week, family, colours and also the alphabet.

Across the whole school, the children took part in a sign and sing- we hope that you enjoy our video that the children worked incredibly hard to put together.

We cannot wait to learn more and incorporate BSL into our curriculum in the future.

The SEND team are after some donations please for our new provision. So if you’re having a clear out before Christmas, please bear us in mind…

We would be extremely grateful for any of the following:

  • Small world toys such as farm animals/farm house, kitchen/pretend food, dolls and dolls clothes, garage and small cars, zoo/zoo animals, shop/shopping trolley/items.
  • Dressing up costumes.
  • Any outdoor equipment that would support gross motor skills such as balance bikes/motorbikes/little tikes cars.
  • Outdoor/garden bits to enhance our outdoor area.
