Class 11 had a fantastic day yesterday on our learning visit to York Chocolate Story!
The children were lucky enough to make their own edible chocolate wall paper; including how it’s changed states , quality test different types of chocolate, learn about the history of the confectionary industry in the UK and how it’s transformed in to what it is now and finally make their own lollipops!
The sun was shining and we had a lovely afternoon walking down the famous Shambles, and climbing an enormous hill to strike some poses!
Lastly, I would like to say a huge well done to each of the children on our visit yesterday on how they sensibly conducted themselves around York city centre and also in the Chocolate Story itself. I was extremely proud of your beautiful manners and the respect that you showed to the staff delivering our tour!
