The children have been trying new things today just like Kevin in ‘The Koala who could’. We enjoyed reading the story about trying things that might scare us and feel new. The children then practised walking with a lunch tray like they will need to do when getting their lunch in Reception. We also looked at our new transition book all about the Reception teachers, people who can help us and our new learning environments. We then each said a message that we want to say to Mrs Jones and Mrs Wallace. Mrs Hay wrote them down to send up to Reception on Wednesday. It’s been a lovely but my goodness, we are all going to miss this wonderful bunch of children!
