Dear Parents and Carers,

Another year has come to an end at Green Top and I’m sure we can all agree on the business of the academic year. We have been on so many learning visits, hosted many celebration assemblies and family learning afternoons as well as producing many pieces of amazing work including a published book.

Thank you for all your support with the above and also for the reading you do with your children at home, ensuring that the children come to school in the correct uniform and contributing to the residentials and learning visits we organise.

I would like to thank my leadership team and all my staff for supporting your children. The dedication that my staff have demonstrated this year in their planning and delivery lessons has been first class. The learning environments are exciting and engaging, the staff deserve the credit for these learning spaces.

I would also like to thank the board of governors for their dedication and time commitment. This year has been an extraordinary year as we continued on our academy journey consulting with staff, parents, children, unions and the wider community.

Well done and thank you for the children. Once again they have been amazing, taking all the learning opportunities staff have presented them and making great progress.

I hope you all have a great holiday and we will see you all, open for business on Monday 4th September.
