As you are aware at Green Top we like to offer children unique and exciting experiences which supplement the curriculum we already offer. We are currently canvassing the opinions of our stakeholders to develop a list of ’50 things to do at Green Top’. (We developed the idea from the National Trust and their 50 things to do before you are 11 ¾!)
We are asking you to consider, as a family, the things you would like to do, experiences you’d like to have, non-academic things you may want to learn, whilst you are at Green Top. Use the grid overleaf to jot down your ideas. This list may include some of things you get up to as a family over the summer break.
This list may include ideas such as, create a rap song, toast marshmallows on a campfire or create a meal from vegetables we have grown. You’re sure to have better ideas.
Miss Salter will collect these in during the first week back in September and compile a list alongside those ideas offered by governors, parents and significant people in our local community to create a list of ‘50 things to do at Green Top!’
Look out for the list on the school website and the display that will appear in the foyer near the hall in the Autumn term.
