Today ‘Rainbow Schools Tour’ visited Green Top to tell us all about the UCI Road World Championships which are coming to Doncaster on Friday 27 September. In addition to this, Mandy Bishop (nee Jones), who won the Rainbow Jersey in 1982 when the championships were last held in Britain, came along with her original winner’s jersey and medal.
The children were very excited to meet her and asked her lots of questions about her career, bikes and medal.
