Dear Parent,
A member of staff has tested positive this evening on lateral flow as a precautionary measure the following groups need to isolate until I have spoken to public health tomorrow to confirm close contacts. Once this has been confirmed we will update who needs to isolate and who can return to school.
This affects the following groups of students;
- Children who have been in the hall this week for the Y6 into Y7 transition group. This also means tomorrows leavers camp is postponed until we are able to safely return our Y6 students.
- Children who have been in Class 4 (Miss Schon) for transition from nursery to reception.
- Children who attended Y1 film club on Tuesday evening.
We are hopeful that many of these students will be able to return once we have spoken to public health. In addition, if this member of staff tests negative on a PCR test then we will all be able to return next week. If parents are concerned please do call or email your child’s phase leader to discuss.
I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. All updates will be available on the website and via text or email as soon as confirmation is received.
We are heartbroken to possibly have to end the year in this way with these groups of children in this way.
