Next week is Maths Week at Green Top which our very own Learning Council will be organising and delivering.
One of our activities will be an estimation station where you can guess how many sweets are in our jar! If your child would like to take part, it is 50p a turn and the prize will be the jar full of sweets – yum! This will take place at play times on the following days so your child only needs to bring money in on their designated day.
Year 5/6 – Monday
Year 3/4 – Tuesday
Year 1/2 – Wednesday
EYFS – Friday
Other activities will include the relaunch of TT Rockstars, daily challenges on the blog and lots of lovely maths stories shared in crew!
On Friday, children are encouraged to bring in maths related games to share with their friends and to play with in Funky Friday Time. These could include board games, Rubik’s cubes, dominoes, cards … the list is endless!
