Class 9 worked hard this afternoon in Literacy picking out the features of an instructional text. Working with their learning buddies, the children looked at 3 different sets of instructions and picked out the features – everything from capital letters to time conjunctions. As a class we then created a rubric which will help us write our own set of instructions next week.
