7th December – 11th December – Year 3 and 4- Brownie baking, children are welcome to bring an apron or an old t-shirt for this week.
9th December – Christmas craft day, children are welcome to wear old clothes on this day as we will be getting the paint glitter and glue out everywhere in school!
11th December – Deadline for christmas cards for children in our bubbles
Week beginning 14th December – Christingle making ( if you want to make a Christingle your £1 must be donated by Wednesday 9th December – to ensure we order enough oranges all donations after orange costs will be made to the Christian Aid and children’s society.
15th December – Christmas dinner day
17th December – Christmas party day, children are welcome to wear party clothes all day on this day, Michael will be providing a party dinner
17th December last day for Christmas raffle tickets to be bought.
18th December – Christmas Jumper Day
18th December – Christmas raffle draw tickets 50p each – please send money in and numbers will be allocated, we will then use random org to draw the raffle. So far we have 25 prizes, with more being added daily.
Every day in December we will be running a kindness advent calendar, school council will update the daily tasks but alongside this we will be running a kindness advent, where boxes will be placed on the playgrounds for you to donate food to the food bank and Moorends Miners Welfare as a thank you for their continued support for our most vulnerable families during the Covid-19 period.
