Crew Jackson – Science case study

This afternoon we continued with our Science case study, focusing on characteristics that offspring inherit from their parents. It was really interesting to listen to the children share their own stories about how they have been told they look like or behave like their family members. We then went on to relate this to a range of animals and the children loved the challenge of matching parent to offspring. We quickly worked out the difference between the Asian and African elephants but the ‘cat family’ definitely caught us out! Who knew how hard it was to identify the difference between a young jaguar, cheetah and leopard! Fab work guys – I have really enjoyed our first day of learning this half term. x
