A visitor came into key stage 1 today who was part of the archeologist team that helped to excavate Peel Hill a few years ago. He had a lot of knowledge about its use and the original layout, including the position of the curtain walls and where the bailey would have been.
The children really enjoyed finding out about the history of their own home town.
