Our expert that came into school today knew a lot of information about the different types of castles that had been built in the past. He brought a sword and discussed methods of attacking enemies. The children also got a chance to be interactive and helped him to build a castle out of foam bricks. They then had a go at throwing bean bags at it to see how hard it was to knock down a concentric castle in comparison to a motte and bailey. We love having an expert into school because the children always learn so much!
