As you may already know this and the coming weeks are all about celebrating reading. There have been lots of activities happening around school to champion this very important skill, such as a daily 50p book sale and members of our wonderful learning council visiting us to read a favourite story – check out the photograph below of two of our wonderful ladies sharing Martha’s choice.
As part of the celebrations we are running a very exciting competition where the children get the chance to crack the code to open a treasure box full of fantastic prizes. To be in with a chance of opening the treasure box, all the children need to do is send us photographs of them reading in 3 different unusual places. Ava has already sent us one of her reading her book at her brother’s rugby practise. Photo’s can be sent to your child’s teachers’ email address.
