I am so proud of Grace and her hard work. She has done so well with her writing. She has included many features of the step 7/8 RUBRIC independently and I have thourally enjoyed reading her diary entry! £100 class cash!
Class 11 have been learning about different units of measure in Maths this week.
They have been super stars at converting between two different units of measures such as mm -> cm and g -> kg.
After that, we moved on to working out the Area and Perimeter of a shape. Our classroom has been jam packed of Connecting Connies and Light Bulb Leo’s. Well done guys, you’ve blown me away with your attitudes towards your learning on this.
Keep it up!
Well done to just some of our recent house point winners! Keep up the great work!
This week in phonics we have enjoyed ribbon writing to Indian music! We have been writing circles and lines to make up the letters in our name. I wonder if this week at home you can show your adults how you can write the first letter of your name. Be as creative as you can and don’t forget to show your adults to get your class reward!
Years 3 & 4 will be raising money for a charity called ‘Habitat for humanity’. The children enjoyed learning about the charity and how it helps rebuild the lives of those that have been affected by natural disasters. The children discussed potential fundraising ideas and set themselves a target to raise £500 as a phase. We will keep you all updated when our fundraiser has been confirmed!
Thank you,
Miss Blackham
Class 10 are loving the snow this play time! Lots of excited children!
