Class 7 collaborative work

In English today, class 7 worked in collaborative groups to put together an information page about bikes and label the different features that they could see, such as subheadings, pictures, facts and bullet points. We then discussed what went into each section of the text and summarised the main points of each part.

Fantastic work class 7!

Ava’s dancing medals

Well done to Ava who has achieved three medals in her dancing last weekend. We are all proud of you Ava! Keep up the hard work!

Theme learning

Today we started our theme lesson with a quiz on the Titanic. Children had to discuss whether or not they thought the statements shared with them were true or false. The children were really hooked into today’s learning and were desperate to discover whether or not their quiz answers were correct.

Class 10 love learning about the Titanic and they can’t wait for their next theme lesson.

Fabulous family learning

Class 5 have had a fabulous afternoon making vehicles in family learning. We had some great models! A huge thank you to all the adults that came to help this afternoon you were amazing!

Thank you

Developing skills outside of school.

Max has come into school very excited to share his team work sills with Doncaster Rovers. Its lovely to see our children involved in so many fun activities and clubs outside of school. These skills will really help you in school especially when working collaboratively. Thanks for sharing Max 🙂

I have attached the video bellow for you to enjoy. Please support Max and his team, there are more challenges to follow 🙂

Sophie’s News!!

Huge well done to Sophie on your superbly written Newspaper Report! Miss Salter and I were blown away by the incredible amount of detail that was included about the deadliest eruption in New Zealand.

Despite being on holiday over there during half term, Sophie has still managed to produce this great piece of home learning.

What a Connecting Connie! 50 housepoints!

PE Fun!

Class 13 enjoyed practising their ball skills in PE. We are building up our skills ready to take on a netball match! The children practised chest passes, bounce passes and shooting in to the net! Well done guys!
