Out of school achievements in F2 and KS1

Well done to everyone who brought their certificates, medals and trophies in today to share in our assembly.  We always love to hear about the activities and clubs you go to and we are so proud to celebrate with you.  This week we had dancers, swimmers and football players.  Well done to you all!

It was great to hear from the boys football coach about their amazing and much improved football skills.  Congratulations on coming runners up in your tournament at the weekend.  You should be very proud of coming 2nd out of 12 teams.   Keep up the hard work I am sure you will do so well when the season starts.

Greek Pots

Class 13 have enjoyed making Greek pots out of clay as part of their theme. They also enjoyed getting messing in the process!

Rotation, Rotation, Rotation!

Today, Class 13 practised their direction and rotating skills by directing their partners around the playground. They directed them North, East, South, West and practised rotating clockwise and anticlockwise in degrees.

Well done!

Our group balances!

Due to the rain, our outdoor PE session had to be adapted! The children really enjoyed participating in Zumba and working in groups to create a number of different balancing positions! A firm favourite was the bicycle!

Just a polite reminder that our PE sessions are on a Thursday afternoon and to encourage children to have their kits ready for Thursdays.

Converting measures

  • Here are Class 10 working hard in their maths lesson this morning. They have been applying the skill of converting measures to reasoning and problem solving I am really proud of how resilient the children have been! Keep it up my little super stars!
