Fun with Phonics

This week in nursery we had lots of fun taking part in wiggle and squiggle! Pop on the radio or your favourite music or song and write away! Let the music take control of your body and your pen and have fun mark making as big as you can!

Awesome homework!

I am so impressed with Oliver’s clock he has made as part of his homework! What a superstar! £100 class cash.

Our dancing superstar

A huge well done to Ava who danced at comps over the weekend and won 3 1st place medals and 2 3rds! We are all so proud of you!

Please feel free to bring in any out of school achievements into class so we can share on our blog.

Sam’s Safari Camping Adventure

  • Today we joined Sam’s Safari on a camping adventure. We got ready, packed our bag and climbed a mountain and pitched our rent in a perfect spot.  We met lots of animals on our journey including stick insects, frogs, hedgehogs, Bruce the bearded dragon and Peter the rabbit! Not forgetting the tortoise and Kerry the snake! The story helped us to learn about the animals, what they eat and their habitats.

Great shape sorting

Class 5 have been sorting 2D shapes today and they have been brilliant at it! Everyone worked collaboratively and could explain their choices when sorting shapes.

Keep up the good work class 5

Miss Hilton and Mrs Roe

Eden camp!

Year 3 have had an awesome time at Eden camp today. They loved walking around the huts and imagining what  life would be like in WWII.

More photos to follow of the other group shortly.

First day back

Class 5 had a great first day back. They retold the story of the princess and the frog from using pages in the book and putting them in the correct order. Everyone worked so hard today. Keep it up class 5 we love it!

Magnificent multiplication

Class 13 enjoyed doing lots of different activities to practise multiplication today. They supported each other in their learning and even enjoyed writing on the tables to work out their calculations!
