Class 8 had great fun designing and building g their own finger skateboard. Lots of problem solving took place and lots of peer support! Well done everyone!
Class 5 were fantastic at making traffic lights for our classroom. Come and see them hanging up!
Thank you
Miss Hilton and Mrs Roe
Year 1 have had a great time on their scooters today. The children loved playing on their scooters and doing some experiments like going faster and slower and using balance and coordination to steer their scooters. Thank you for all the parents that brought a scooter to school. We hope this encourages you and your child to scoot to school sometimes to stay active and healthy.
Thank you
Year 1 staff
Class 10 have loved creating tsunami pictures this afternoon!
Class 10 have enjoyed making tornados for our classroom and practising their ICT skills to record infteresring facts about Tsunamis. They have created fantastic posters and I can’t wait to display them!
This week we have been using the tablets to draw circus pictures on the paint app. The children confidently navigated the tools in the app.
Another really exciting day today in class 7!
We designed our own skateboards and then transferred these designs onto wooden lollipop sticks. We then created our own finger skateboards, using beans, thin sticks and blu-tac!
The children had fantastic ideas and were definitely motivated Moe’s today.
Our instructions that we wrote will follow, on another post…so keep checking the blog.

Huge well done to Emily for producing this beautiful painting of a volcanic eruption!
This is our first piece of homework for 2019 and it’s certainly set the bar high. The painting is now being show cased in our volcano area
I wonder who will be next to have their homework on the wall of fame?

Class 11 have continued to create some amazing pieces of artwork today for our new theme, focussing on Tsunamis.
The children carefully used watercolours to paint a beach scene practising their brush strokes and blending skills.
The finished pictures are absolutely stunning, and I was so proud by how much attention to detail you made to ensure that you mixed each of the colours “just right”. We have got some budding artists within our class!
Well done!
