Year 1 home learning

Well done to those Year 1 children who have been learning at home today. You have shown you understand what the different hands on a clock mean and you have wrote the ending to our story George and the Dragon. I have really enjoyed reading them this morning.

Cool Clocks

This week in year one we are learning all about time.

Yesterday, both in school and at home we made some cool clocks.

Lots of children were able to achieve green standard yesterday. We were really impressed with you all.

Funky Friday :)

Year 1 you have worked extremely hard today. I have loved seeing photos of your shields and you writing today has been so lovely to read. Well done to you and your Mums and Dads for all your hard work this week.

Have a nice rest this weekend.

What is that????

Something very strange happened at Green Top today!

year 1 had to turn into detectives to investigate. We had lots of questions to ask and we had some great ideas about what had happened.

what do you think has happened?

we decided to keep a close eye on the egg to see what happens next, keep checking our class blogs for an update.

Wonderful Work!

This is just some of the wonderful work that has been sent to me today! I am blown away by your hard work and determination to complete your learning at home Year 1. Well done.

I look forward to seeing what you will achieve tomorrow.

See you on hangout at 9am

Mrs Burton 🙂

Exciting News

Tomorrow at 1pm we will be joined by Archaeologist Jon Kenny who will be talking to all of KS1 about Peel Hill.
We are extremely lucky to have him join us to engage the children with our current Expedition theme.

When you join the hangout please ensure your microphone is off and stays off unless you are asked to turn it on by Jon to answer a question. This is purely a listening exercise therefore the children will not need pens/paper.

We cant wait to find out what he can tell us. The link will be posted on the classroom stream for you to join us. This will be in place of our 2pm hangout tomorrow.

Fantastic Home Learning

Thank you to everyone who has sent work via the Classroom or joined Hangouts and our live lessons. It’s been lovely to see so many of your beautiful smiling faces.

We have been blown away by the quality of the work you have been producing.

You are definitely displaying our Work Hard HoWL.

Keep it up everyone!
