Today we have had a wonderful day celebrating Chinese New Year. The children have danced with masks on to Chinese music, made a Chinese dragon and were even brave enough to eat some Chinese food. Well done everyone.

Next week (3rd Feb – 7th Feb) is National Storytelling Week and we are going to combine it with Maths Week!
Please join us for our coffee afternoon on Friday 7th February 2pm – 3pm to enjoy sharing stories (especially maths relates ones) with your children!
If you would like to attend, please book your place using the Google Form below.
We look forward to you joining us!
This week we have been learning about Doctors. How they help us, what they do, where they work etc. It has led to lots of interesting conversations and some wonderful imaginative play.
On Wednesday we were so lucky to have Miss Smith visit with her two children, Baby Nancy and Baby Chad. The children loved seeing them. This was part of our Expeditionary learning, thinking about how we grow and change.
Following their visit we spoke about how we have grown and changed and enjoyed looking at our baby photos.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for family learning yesterday. We were so happy to see so many of you could join us.
Nursery family learning is on Wednesday 15th January. Please send your child into school wearing their pyjamas, dressing gowns, normal school shoes and coat. Do not send your child in slippers as we will still be accessing outdoor play.
Our family learning session is from 2 – 2.45 pm in Nursery. We will be reading stories, singing songs, explore what good oral health is and talking about the importance of a good night sleep. We hope that all children will have a member of their family to join us.
We look forward to seeing you then.

Next week Nursery will be learning about growth and change and what we looked like when we were babies. We kindly ask for you to email or print a photograph of your child as a baby by Monday 13th January.
Many thanks,
Mrs Hay & Mrs Burton
