We had a lovely time exploring and playing in the snow this week. We managed to get out before it all disappeared. It was chilly but amazing!
Well done everyone

This week in our reception community crew meeting the children have showcased lots of beautiful work! There thinking and writing about our story this week is just wonderful! Some of our children shared their writing of sentences and the children gave each other shout outs for kindness and working hard. Congratulations to Marco and Cooper our HOWL point winners this week and a huge well done to Heidi and Lennox our new Crew Champions! Well done Reception what a great week!
We are very proud to share with you our EYFS product which shows how our EYFS children care.
We hope you enjoy our very special video.
On Friday the children had a wonderful day learning about our friend Pudsey Bear and all the exciting ways in which we can support Children in Need.Thank you to all of you who supported through dress up, baking, buying buns and donating to this fantastic yearly fundraiser. The learning didn’t stop there as the children continued learning about more and less in their play. Here are some of our snapshots!
A huge thank you to all those who attended our EYFS presentation of learning today and for your support in helping us raise a whopping £1115 to help build the new parent’s room at DRI children’s ward. We hope you enjoyed the event it as much as we did and feel equally as proud of our wonderful children. ❤️
This week the children in reception have been learning about Hinduism. On Friday our learning from the week was brought together for the children to have a fun faith day. The children enjoyed learning about the story of Rama and Sita, created Rangoli patterns, made beautiful decorations and made some wonderful Diva lamps. Here are some of our snapshots!
As part of Anti Bullying Week, on Tuesday 12th November we will be celebrating Odd Socks Day. This is to show it’s okay to be different to and to raise the awareness of bullying! So dig out your favourite pairs as we can’t wait to see your odd socks!
This week the children have all received a reading book. It is the expectation that the children will read their book at home and this is recorded in the yellow reading record that came in their reading pack. This will support the children in their phonics skills and help to improve their reading fluency.
Books will be changed on a Tuesday and a Friday as long as it is evident in their reading record that they have read the book. If you need any support with anything reading please ask a member of the F2 Team.
Enjoy!
