Well done Danny you have been a real Curious Cleo today! You came into school and started practising your Roman numerals straight away. You then used your knowledge to help you identify numerals which were a little harder like IV and VII. Great effort! 😀
Mrs Shaw is super impressed that you completed all of your work before 10 this morning! Your maths work was super and you did some fantastic problem solving. You have been a real Can Do Colin! 🙂

Today we have been learning about Roman numerals – the boys completed a matching activity before making the numerals. We have then had an ongoing challenge throughout the day where I have randomly asked what ‘X’ stands for or ‘VII’ , etc and the first person to shout it out wins a prize- safe to say they are all absolutely awesome at Roman numerals and I now need to fill up my prize box!!

Sooo impressed with crew-coon H today! Georgie, Bradley, Damion, Danny and Henry have worked so hard and have produced these absolutely gorgeous sketches of a Roman soldier and the Colosseum! I think we have some young Van Goghs in the making! Well done boys- so proud and so impressed!

Damion, you have been a Connecting Connie today as you used what you already knew about french colours and clothes to help you to write sentences. Also, you have been a very kind friend by letting other children have a turn when playing tennis- very lovely of you. Well done! I will blog soon.

Macie, Thea, Lola, Courtney and Ruby were Stick-ability Stans this morning when they made catapults out of lollypop sticks and elastic bands. I was really impressed that you didn’t give up.
