Y4 – Crew Building Challenge

For our crew building task, the children completed the paper holding challenge. Each team had to work together to hold as many sheets of paper between them, with the team holding the most the winners. Each group had to work well collaboratively to make sure that the task was a success.

Y4 – Photo Scavenger Hunt

As part of our crew building session today, the children have been working in groups to complete a photo scavenger hunt. They had to capture a number of weird and wonderful photographs from the checklist given to them and it was brilliant to see everyone joining in and getting involved.

Crew Year 3/4

Wow! What a fab week we have had in our new year 3 and 4 crews! We’ve survived the heat, done lots of team building and made lots of lovely things for our new classroom environments next year!

Each crew has also worked on creating a pledge to support them in their journeys next year.

Check out some of our pledges in our beautiful class videos below. You might also get a sneak peak of some of the other fun thing we’ve been up to!

We hope you all have a wonderful summer and look forward to your return 🙂

Y4 – Marshmallow Challenge

This morning, Year 4 were challenged to build a tower using marshmallows, toothpicks and pasta. The aim was to work as a team to build the tallest free-standing tower possible. The children worked really well collaboratively and had lots of different ideas on how to build the best structure.

Year 6 leavers requests

As you will be aware, our Year 6 leavers assembly is on Friday afternoon with an approximate starting time of 2.15pm. Please ensure you have arrived and are seated well in advance (around 2pm).

We are asking that you ensure that your child is in full uniform that day so they look smart ready for their performance and pass out afterwards.

If your child wants to sign shirts and school tops during Friday morning, please make sure they fetch a spare for this to happen. They will not be able to sign the one they are wearing until after the performance and pass out.

As always, thanks for your support! We are looking forward to seeing you there.
