After learning about the layers of the earth last week, we took a more detailed look at our Earth’s crust today. Learning that it is made up of the continental crust and the oceanic crust and what makes up these layers (mostly different types of rock). Here is the way they have captured their learning this week. Next week we are looking at what surrounds the Earth, our atmosphere (and believe it or not, that’s also in layers!).

Class 10, more marvelous maths!
Some more fab fraction learning today. This lesson was very practical and the children really grappled with the process of finding fractions of an amount. Towards the end it was clear they were really starting to get the hang of it. I can’t wait to test their recall tomorrow and move their learning forward. Well done again everyone.
