I know I speak on behalf of Class 10 when I say how much we have thoroughly enjoyed our community link with Parklands care home and participating in the adopt a grandparent scheme. Over the past year, we have shared many learning experiences. We have read numerous books and played many games. I have seen so many children grow in confidence; from our first visit where I had many quiet and shy year 3’s who were nervous to go and show their books, to today where I had a class full of confident children, beaming with excitement and who are very much so year 4 ready and I couldn’t be prouder. The residents have really enjoyed spending time with Class 10 and I know the feeling is mutual. This afternoon, we spent our last visit of the year doing Zumba and singing songs. Here are a a few short videos. As you can see, fun was had by all! You have put a lot of smiles on a lot of people’s faces during these visits and you should be very proud of yourselves.
Well done Class 10 and as always, you make both Mrs Clay and I so proud!
