A critique of our day

We have had an amazing first home learning day. Thank you to all our parents, careers and students for persevering, showing true resilience and having a go at our new way of delivering our expedition curriculum.

We are aware there have been some teething problems with getting online – please let us know if you are still struggling and someone will get back to you asap. Also we acknowledge some of our parents are trying to deliver a full days curriculum learning whilst also working from home themselves, as many staff at school are working parents we completely understand. Therefore, as long as your child has contacted school daily before 11am (via an email from yourselves, log into google classroom, said hello on hangouts/ anything really!) we will accept any work you’re able to complete with your child.

Here is our collective critique…

I notice…

Lots of positivity and smiles at school and on photos shared.

I praise…

  • All the great work that the children have sent in from home.
  • Lots of positive parents that have supported the school in stressful times.

I wonder…

If phase leader email addresses can be used by parents needing to communicate with staff please wherever possible (rather than children’s platforms for learning)
