Today, we had fun taking a closer look at our new text, FLOOD by Alvaro F Villa … a picture book with no words! Children shared their notices and wonders about the pictures included in the book and we thought about all the different ways there might be to tell ‘the story’ of FLOOD with our own words. Then children worked collaboratively to role-play some of the different scenes in the story, thinking about what the characters might be doing and thinking, and how they might be feeling.
