Today the children brought home their log-in details for Numbots and TTRockstars. Children are welcome to use both games but at this time of year we find Numbots particularly useful. Children who use Numbots regularly often show greater confidence in their maths skills. The game may appear easy at first but the games are designed to teach children the skills they need in order to be able to answer harder mathematical questions later. Please introduce your child to the game but do not give them the answers to the questions. The games are designed to track your child’s individual progress and if anyone else uses their account it can effect the games given to you child and lead to gaps in their overall progress.
Children can earn certificates for completing the different stages of the game. We also give out special certificates in our community crew assembly for children with the highest number of minutes played/correct answers/stages completed etc. This varies from week to week but one child from each class will be rewarded with a certificate for the chosen reason.
