In expedition this week, we have been looking at the concept of morality. We have discussed what morality is and why groups of people may have differing ideas on what is right and wrong. We talked about the different ways in which people judge what is either moral or immoral and also looked at how different religious groups come to their own conclusion of what is right or wrong.
We then linked these ideas to the current pandemic and challenged the children with a number of different moral dilemmas that really got their brains ticking. We had some fantastic discussions between the groups and it was so fascinating to see how each child was able to offer their own view of what they believed was the right action to take whilst also remaining respectful of the opinions of those they disagreed with.
