Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed SLC’s and hopefully you will have a clear understanding of the next steps that your children will be making in their learning and how you can support them in this. One great way to support is to practise the phonics homework sheets that we send out weekly.
These will be given out on a Friday and they will be specific to the Step that your child is working on.
I am sure that you are familiar with them but there is an example above just in case.
All children need to be accessing these sheets to ensure that they are having as much reading opportunity as possible.
This week we have been looking at zz/qu/ch.
See if your child is beginning to recognise these sounds in familiar words.
