Today we continued to practise blending sounds together. We introduced a new activity called ‘Treasure or Trash?’ In this game we had to decide if the word was a real word or if it was ‘trash’ (a made up word). This opened up some discussion about the meaning of the real-words and we had some great descriptions – especially about pigs!
