We had another great day today in Class 5. Thank you to all the adults who came to our reading sessions. It was so lovely to meet you all. In Crew today we tested our memory and played Kim’s Game. We had 8 objects and then hid them under a blanket. We had to draw the objects we could remember. After that we designed some doodles of all the things we have enjoyed so far in Green Top school. It was lovely to hear the children talking about everything they could remember about their time so far in school and I shared some of the things they have to look forward to in Key Stage 1. After lunch we read the story ‘How Many Legs’. We rewrote the story using our class as the characters and then we acted it out to Mrs Shaws class. Mrs Shaws class then shared their own stories with us so we could see what we can achieve by the end of Year 1. I have had such a lovely time with you all and I am excited to begin our journey next school year!
