A big thanks to the Friends of Green Top who raised enough money for us to have a little festive treat this afternoon of the Snow White panto coming in to school.
The children all absolutely loved it and enjoyed engaging with all of the classic pantomime fun!
A big thank you to East Riding Christmas Trees who have donated a large selection of Christmas tree cuttings for our Nursery Christmas craft family learning next week.

We hope as many parents and carers can join us for what will be a fun filled morning.
The children have been working really hard in maths this week. We have been consolidating our learning of identifying and representing numbers 1-5. Here are some children using loose parts to touch count to 5.
I wonder…
Can you practise writing numbers 1-5 at home?
Can you find 1 – 5 objects?
Can you order number 1 -5 with a grown up?
Please send any additional work to Mrs Hay or Mrs Burton or email to [email protected]
Happy learning!

The children have been so excited this week and the Christmas magic seems to be in the air already. We have enjoyed rummaging through the Christmas storage boxes and putting up a few decorations and trying on some nativity costumes.
This week we have enjoyed the story Elmer. The children have enjoyed exploring different coloured play dough and mixing colours in shaving foam.
We were enjoying mother nature today and explored the snow! Lots of fun and laughter had by children and staff building our beautiful Nursery Crew.
We are very proud to share with you our EYFS product which shows how our EYFS children care.
We hope you enjoy our very special video.
A huge thank you to all those who attended our EYFS presentation of learning today and for your support in helping us raise a whopping £1115 to help build the new parent’s room at DRI children’s ward. We hope you enjoyed the event it as much as we did and feel equally as proud of our wonderful children. ❤️
Today we are showing awareness of ‘anti bullying’ by wearing odd socks. We have also done the paper experiment where we said unkind things to a piece of paper. Every time a mean word was said I scrumpled the paper until it was finally in a ball.
We then apologised to the paper for our unkind words and with each ‘I’m sorry’ the paper was unfolded but the creases still remained. The paper was never the same as it was before.
This showed the children that we must always choose our words carefully and be kind. We can say sorry for our actions but they are not always forgotten and leave a lasting trace.
