Today in RE, we continued our learning about symbolism and art in religion by focusing on the use of visual arts by the Christian community. We learned that most Christians find it acceptable to create images of Jesus and other individuals from the bible, however some other religions do not. We looked at the images below and shared our thoughts and feelings about them with each other, showing great mutual respect and tolerance for those with different beliefs and thoughts to our own.
