After the recent sad news of the death of Captain Sir Tom Moore, Year 5 decided to share a lovely story of his extraordinary life.
We discussed all the inspirational things that he had achieved in his life and it was wonderful to hear all the children share how he had inspired them to want to achieve great things in their lives too.
In celebration of his life and to share our thoughts, we created Thank you cards, posters and story boards of his life.
What a beautiful afternoon and a little reminder to everyone:
