Wow! What a fantastic and busy week it has been in Class 15. After a couple of days to settle back in, we have ended on a real high – with EVERYBODY in the class achieving a 4 in their HoWLs for two days in a row :). Of course, the children were keen to celebrate this and we have enjoyed milkshake and sweet treats together, as well as some extra break time to enjoy playing dodgeball. The cherry on the top? 100% attendance ALL week – well done!
As part of our immersion into our new expedition topic, we have been learning all about the ancient Egyptians – reading facts, creating our own pharaoh-themed portraits, creating papyrus coloured paper, using hieroglyphics and even making our very own headdresses … check out our photos and I’m sure you’ll agree they look amazing!
I can’t wait to see how next week can top this week … and now we know everyone is capable of a 4 on the HoWLs tracker, the standard is really set high for amazing learning behaviours all round 🙂 Let’s keep it up!
Best wishes for everyone’s well-earned weekend,
Mrs Dutton x
