In our Community Crew today, we focused on challenging different stereotypes. We learnt what ‘stereotype’ means and how we can begin to break down these stereotypes in our community. I read out lots of statements such as ‘only boys can be fire fighters’ and the children had to decide whether each statement was true or false by flashing their green and red cards.
I am proud to say that my crew have a really good knowledge and understanding of diversity and they are all truly kind children!
